As we are living in the competitive world, our students are at crossroads knowing nowhere to move forward. Having felt the crucial need of the students, who are from the poor family backgrounds, we envisaged to create a forum for the preparation for facing the competitive exams. So, we started GSP – Government Service Project.
The main objectives of GSP is to offer exposure to face the competitive exams conducted by the government. Instead of paying a lot of money to prepare by joining the private coaching centres, we form our students with all the inputs in par with them.
A team of teachers who are experts in their subjects are involved in GSP to mould the students. Students are scrutinized and selected from 6th to 12th standard as members of GSP. Various trainings are imparted to them every week, on Wednesdays.
Spoken English, Quiz, Exposure programmes to make the students aware of the society, leadership training, Environmental Awareness, Visit to the historically important places, like ISRO in Kerala, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, Central Library, Motivational talks by the guest lecturers, Science awareness, etc... are arranged systematically.
Model question papers based on the government competitive exams are discussed and exposed to the GSP students to solve them. Some questions based on the subjects are also given to the students which will be of great help in serving. All these programmes are given to the students free of cost.
Creativity and thirst for knowledge are instilled in the young minds of the students at this stage. Interested students who excel in all the programmes are selected for the Summer Exposure programmes which provide holistic training to them. To kindle the competitive spirit among our students is our prime motive, and to shine in future successfully is our expectation. Parents, Teachers and the Alumni are encouraging our students.
